In Home Cooking Classes

Do you have a minimum of 12 family, friends, work colleagues that would enjoy an afternoon or evening of Thai cooking, eating and culture?

MangoMonkey Culinary Institute offers in home courses where you can get hands on in learning Thai cuisine the way it was meant in the comfort of your home.

This is an excellent way to conduct a Fundraiser, Company Team Building, Friends and Family Get together.

Depending on the size of your home and kitchen, we can turn your home into a culinary workshop.

You and your MangoMonkey Chef will plan the menu to be served.  Your award winning MangoMonkey Chef will suggest beverages, wines and desserts that best pair with those meals.

Want to make your event even more authentic and AMAZING?  MangoMonkey can also arrange a fruit & vegetable carving demonstration or class as well as Traditional Thai Dancers with their own troup of musicians to ensure you and your guests have the most enjoyable, entertaining, fun experience you can have outside of Thailand.

Thai Cooking & Culture Tours

The best way to learn Thai cuisine is to understand the culture behind it.

The best place to learn the culture of Thailand is...IN THAILAND.

Several times a year we conduct 2 and 4 week Culinary & Culture Tours of Thailand.

See the history, the people and all that makes Thailand one of the most Amazing holiday destinations in the world.

 Thai Cooking Certificates

Program courses are taught in 1/2 day classes over a 12 week period.

Each class will teach 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 dessert.  Meals cooked by you will be served with beverages at the end of the course for you to enjoy with your fellow students and Chefs.

You can take one or all class courses as you like and as your budget allows.

Whether a novice Chef or just a 'Bon Vivant' wishing to hone their culinary appetite while learning Authentic Thai cuisine, this course was developed with you in mind, as it is as enjoyable as it is educational.

Students are provided all equipment and tools as well as a complimentary MangoMonkey Culinary Institute apron.

Certificates are issues for those completing all 12 parts.

Professional Thai Chef Diploma

Program courses are taught by Thai Master Chefs and expert Thai cooks from Thailand.

This program is a full-time 6 month/5 days per week course which after three months you will be hands-on in real Thai Restaurant kitchens throughout America as an apprentice under the guidance and tutelage of a Head Chef.  

Apprenticeship and training also available in Thailand.

This program was modeled after several top culinary and 'Thai Kitchen" programs offered in Thailand's top Universities and Culinary schools.

You will learn both "Traditional" Thai Cuisine, "Royal" Thai Cuisine methods as well as time-saving methods of operating a professional kitchen.

Course includes:

- Basic through advanced culinary practices and tool usage.
- Healthcare concerns and proper practices.
- Recipe formulation and preparation.

- Presentation and Food styling.
- Fruit & Vegetable carving.
- Restaurant Operations
-.Purchasing with vendors for the best quality and services as well as best prices.

- Hiring and management training to identify the best kitchen, dining room and restaurant staff for your operation.

Tuition includes classroom work, MangoMonkey Chef's Coat and materials.  Toolkits, some cutlery and equipment are available at student discounts.
